- Functional: reserved for first-party preferences (for example UI state) when you opt in; no third-party advertising in this category by default.
- Analytics: when enabled and consented, may include Cloudflare Web Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and optional Cloudflare Zaraz-managed tools you configure in your dashboard.
- Marketing and social: when enabled and consented, may include Meta Pixel, Microsoft Advertising (UET), LinkedIn Insight Tag, Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK, and social pixels such as TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, or X—only if you set the corresponding environment variables in your deployment.
Retention
Essential session cookies typically expire when you sign out or after the session lifetime configured by your identity provider. Analytics and marketing identifiers are governed by each vendor you enable; see the Subprocessors page for links to vendor terms.
